About Us Brazosportarea.com went online for the first time in April of 2002. As a brain child of Ben Blanco and Scott Polk. The idea was to create a locally based Web portal with content that is relevent to the Southern Brazoria County. Brazosportarea.com was meant to be a resource for local events and information.
